OK, all you Tiswas fans from way back may be getting excited, but Lenny Henry isn’t in this scoop unfortunately. We’ve had our first Compost pickup from the shop, and it looks like one bin wont be enough! More coffee grounds than we thought. We’ve cut back from 2 to 1 general waste bins (that’s LANDFILL!), and we’re on the hunt for recycled paper and cardboard products to support this. Check out the new wheels…

We’ve now introduced a compost service which takes our used coffee grounds and food scraps. We’ll be adding a “Sustainability Plan” to our web/Facebook sites, and hope to take many steps towards a more environmentally sustainable Swell Coffee. We’ll be adding information about this plan to our website very soon, but stay tuned for each small step towards a more sustainable Swell Coffee business model. We can all make a difference.

Roll on the toasties! They’ve been a big hit, so we’ve made a meal of it! On Fridays, to make the end of the week more bearable, you can get one of our delicious toasties, with a glass of wine or a beer for just $9!!
