Our Training Philosophy...
We believe that making a good cup of coffee takes skill, knowledge and experience that doesn't come over night.
Our training program is broken up into three separate levels to allow you to take in as much or as little knowledge as you want, in a time frame that suits you. Our courses offer more than a ticked box on your resume, they will allow you to learn and apply practical and theoretical knowledge that will see you well into the future. You will not only enjoy making coffee, but also be proud of the product you serve.
To help you on your way, we also have our training facility open for practice sessions so you can continue to develop your skills & confidence on commercial equipment.
Important things to note
All class sizes are capped at a maximum number of students to ensure everyone gets the attention they need.
We recommend that you complete each level before moving on to the next. Even if you have some industry experience already, it is important to us that each class is across the same foundations of knowledge.
If you feel you need a lesson more tailored to your specific needs, please enquire about our custom courses.
If you have already undertaken a different course through SwEll Coffee prior to 2018 and are wishing to advance your knowledge, please contact us directly so we can recommend the next step for you.
Participants must be 16 years or older to take part in a training course with us.
Our Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations or changes to course dates must be requested at least one week prior to the course date. Any cancellations within one week of the course date may forfeit the total cost.
